Reflection

“We sought the Lord our God; we sought Him, and He has given us rest on every side.”
— 2 Chronicles 14:7(b)

This month of May, the Lord calls us to seek Him with wholehearted trust. In a world filled with pressure, uncertainty, and constant striving, God reminds us that true rest is found not in circumstances, but in His presence. When we turn to Him first, He responds with peace that surrounds us on every side.

To seek the Lord means to depend on Him daily, to place Him above every worry, and to trust His wisdom above our own understanding. As King Asa and the people sought God, He granted them rest and stability. In the same way, God desires to settle your heart, calm your fears, and establish your path this month.

May is a season to stop striving in your own strength and start leaning fully on the Lord. He is your refuge, your provider, and your defender. The battles around you will not define you when His peace is within you.

Step into this month with confidence. Seek Him in prayer, honor Him in faith, and walk closely with Him. As you do, the Lord will give you rest, direction, and victory on every side.
